Murder - Spider runs across your bed
Adultery - Friends GF hits on you
Theft - Find a gold ring near a sink in a public bathroom
There were a few other ideas prior to that, such as;
Anger/Holding a Grudge - Use voodoo doll on a person who was just rude to you
Damage to planet - Leaving plastic bottle on the ground
Compassion - Intimidating man crying at bus stop
These ideas were scrapped after a group crit and a crit with Juan, this due to their subjectiveness.
For example, leaving a plastic bottle on the floor is not good for our planet in the long run and all sea life short term, however it doesn't quite justify getting killed by a ghost..
Same for the guy at the bus stop; he may not want you to say something, so why should you be killed by a ghost for not asking him how he is?
I know the chosen three above don't justify being killed either, but the ghost is more of a representation of our subconscious fear. We all know killing anything without need is wrong, yet to do it anyway (because you think that life has less value) is morally unjustified. If the Spider poses a threat to you, then it could be justified, however regular house spiders don't pose a threat other than your own pointless fear of harmless arachnids. Same goes for the other two. Cheating on your partner or allowing your friends partner to cheat on you is not cool, it only causes hurt to your friend. Theft is self explanatory; if you left your wallet in a public toilets, it would be nice to go back and find it still there.
Murder, Adultery and Theft are three pretty big no-no's as they can cause a rather large ripple.
I also edited the video with the spider making it much shorter and adding a light black and white effect to tone down the colours a bit. The original clips looked nice and clear, but it would look a little silly if you're playing in a dark area then are shown a bright clip to try and carry on the story. Just deletes the illusion a bit.
I'm gonna try and make all the clips at least 10-15 seconds short.
This might not work out with all the clips, but I'm still going to try and keep things as short as possible.
